Baby Memoir ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use the Baby Memoir mobile application ("App") and related services.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you use social login (Google or Apple Sign-In), we receive your name and email from the respective provider.
Baby Profile Information: You may provide your baby's name, date of birth, and other milestone details to personalize your experience.
User Content: Photos, text entries, and other content you upload to record your baby's memories and milestones.
Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for push notification delivery and app performance optimization.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the App, including features used and preferences set, to improve our services.

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and secure authentication (JWT tokens) to protect your personal information. Photos and media are stored in secure cloud storage with access controls.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
Baby Memoir allows you to invite family members to contribute to your baby's memories. When you share access with family members, they can view and contribute content to your baby's profile. You control who has access through the App's family management features.
With your permission, we send push notifications for event reminders and milestone prompts. You can customize notification preferences (frequency and timing) within the App, or disable notifications entirely through your device settings.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will permanently delete your personal data and User Content from our servers. Some data may be retained in backup systems for a limited period before being permanently removed.

Baby Memoir is designed for parents and caregivers (adults aged 18 and over) to record their children's milestones. The App does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. All data is provided by the parent or caregiver who creates and manages the account.
The App may integrate with third-party services such as RevenueCat (subscription management), Firebase (notifications), and cloud storage providers. These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
